always dress up nice for dinner and most evening a couple of changes needless to say outfits are getting smaller and smaller as the liquid courage ie Tequila does its thing hahah

How nice are we talking? I mostly own work appropriate dresses, so I’m having to buy new (albeit cheap) dresses. Club wear seems to have a big range, and I’m never sure how far on the sexier side one should be... I did find one dress that’s definitely not classy, but I want it so bad...

 

Outfits tend to also get smaller and smaller with each trip. Funny how that works.

 

Its really hard to go wrong. TTR is kind of about pushing the limits related to what you are comfortable with. That's kind of a personal thing. As alluded to, what was you limits on your first trip you will probably laugh and on your 4th or 5th trip. Personally, and this is just what i like, I enjoy my wife dressing up sexy but not slutty for dinner. For Bash I like the sluttiness (is that a word?) Dialed up up to 10. Were what makes feel little uncomfortable but not embarrased by the time you get home you will be glade you did

 

You don't have to spend a lot of money on dresses if you buy on eBay from China-direct sellers, but be aware that if you are shopping for April, you need to order things from China NOW, as delivery times are variable and can be as long as 2 months. The sizing runs small, so size up. And order a couple more dresses that you need, as some will be garbage. It's hit and miss, though I have gotten a couple of winners. You're still ahead dollar-wise even if you throw some away, as you'll pay $8-$10 per dress. Skip the China-direct stuff if you are over 5'8".

I have a 4 or 5 dresses from Hot Miami Styles, which are quite well-priced given that they are good quality ($35 - 50). They often offer 15% off the entire site. I just checked, and they are currently offering 20% off. Below is a dress I bought for a dinner dress (it's now on clearance...grrrr!). This dress shows the most skin of any of my dinner dresses, but all my sexy bits are covered. HMS generally does a good job of walking the line between sexy/classy and trashy. Size up in this brand as well. I wear Medium in HMS though I am a size 4.

Yandy is also terrific for dresses and has all sorts of theme wear, especially for Glow Night. Steve has a link on here, so hit that to go to Yandy so Steve gets some love. Their stuff runs true to your usual size.

 

I’ll check them out! I bought the one dress. It doesn’t fit for any Bash themes, so I’ll be a little slutty for dinner at least one night...oops! I’m sure no one will mind.

 

Off topic for this thread, but is anyone else burning with curiosity about how the maiden voyage of the Temptation Cruise is going? Really looking forward to reading the trip reports. There's a lot of long-time TTR members on that cruise.
