Ahhh what can you do. Damn adult life always getting in the way. It's like impossible to pick dates. Can't wait until our son is 17, then it's perfectly fine to leave them home alone.
Great post. It’s 80 degrees F here in San Antonio. Have not seen snow in years. Typical Winter weather. I am on a diet to eat and drink whatever and whenever I please...in excess. oh please, oh please HURRY UP APRIL!!!
My parents used to leave my brother and I for 2.5 months every winter to fly off to Palm Springs when we were 16 and 17!
Come on get creative, here is what I would do. Go to Costco get bulk lucky charms, milk, those PB&J puck things, pizza bagels, pop tarts and juice pouches. Tell them to stay away form the windows and set a bunch of reminders on Alexa. For good measure I would also tell Alexa to yell at them every now and then. Also to stop leaving on all the light so they thought I was home. Then sneak out the back and let the party begin. Of course, that’s what I would do. My wife would beat me, turn the car around and cancel our next 2 TTR trips for being stupid. That suck hopefully you can make it in the fall

I have a sister in NC and she's been saying the same. We are currently in the middle of the worst blizzard I can easily say I have ever seen. 80+cm snow and very high winds. Many parts of the island are in a State of Emergency!!
