So...this is kind of desperate TTR-withdrawal-induced behavior, but I find myself looking forward to the January Roll Call thread being posted. Any 2020 roll call being posted will make April seem closer! Also looking forward to finding out if the resort will in fact change the Boogie Nights theme, and to what. That's supposed to happen in January, according to a post on here that I read a couple of months ago. I think the rumor was also that the resort is changing the Superhero theme, or is my memory failing me? Having new themes to shop for will be fun, as Sean and I are already set with themewear for the existing themes from the past couple of trips. I'll have to get Sean back on the program, as I bought him 4 pairs of squarecuts at his request, but has put most of the weight back on that he lost for our July trip. He bought a gym membership in mid-July, and he has gone less than 5 times! Cost per use on that membership is about $50 at this point lol.
I thoroughly enjoy re-inflating after each vacation, then jumping headlong into dieting for vacation - eventually enjoying a weight-loss win. If the weight isn’t coming off fast enough, I simply blame my wife’s cooking and reduce my weight loss goal. It’s fun competing against myself...since I never lose. Although, my wife is less-than-impressed with my behavior and claims it’s unhealthy to expand and contract. Frankly, I think she just doesn’t enjoy me with my fat-boy Buddha Belly.
We are in 80% full on work out mode for our April trip. We like the idea of CCC people having their own theme nights, kinda like our own little take over night..
I always seem to put on a little weight in the fall. I guess because I stop wearing shorts, and April is far away. But I am going to be more careful this autumn so that taking the extra pounds off come January is easier. @Orpus, Sean is a really laid-back person (total opposite of me!), and I think it's just too much effort for him to stay on a diet and exercise plan year-round. He can't be bothered, as it doesn't matter enough to him except when we go to Cancun. We eliminated almost all the carbs in our diet a couple of years ago while getting ready for Sean's first trip to Cancun, and we got used to living without them, so we never added the carbs back in. We find that really helps to control how many pounds creep back in between vacations. @iowa farmers, good for you for starting so early with your workouts! Or is 80% your year-round mode? I work out 5-6 days per week year-round, but I add 30 minutes of my Brazilian Butt Lift DVD 3-4 nights per week when it is time to ramp up my game for Cancun. The ramp gets steeper the older I get! It's really tedious to do the 2 workouts in a day, and I would much rather flop on the couch with a glass of vino in the evening, but it seems to make a big difference, so I grit my teeth and do it from January to April.
We have decided to put all of our workout effort in to attitude intensity....after partying with Elyse and @ScubaSteve last trip we realized we were junior league. We may not be in great physical shape next trip but we will be the last ones standing!!
Official! We will be there April 13th to 17th! Then off to Desire RM from the 17th to 22nd. Can’t wait! Gym mode in full effect!
so what you are trying to say is we need to become best friends between 13-16 the few days we overlaps hahahhaha will need to kick the tequila in high gear and waste no time
We booked 7 days at TTR for our 4th trip (3rd is this November), followed by 3 days at DRM for our first time... We'll be at TTR from the April 19-26 and DRM 26-29. Can't wait to go, but also anxious to see how our first time will be at DRM. LOL
