Hey all you wonderful people I am going to be there September 9-16.. My birthday is September 10th, so I get to be there on my birthday I just wanted advice on when to book for April, I wanna be around all the great people as last time ~ all advice is welcome. I never book airfare or room this far out. It will drop around Dec-Feb. Always does. If I book now, I'd pay $500 more than last April. We never book more than 4 months in advance. Have never paid more than $2000 for 9 nights w/air. Have done packages through Cheaptickets (always cheaper than the rest), and seperately through Alpharooms. Have gotten the best room deals through Alpharooms. Have never paid more than $168 per day through them.
Last year the price drop Frame was really small , if you blinked you missed out. I started a thread April price watch which help ,, still too early ,, but watching Agree for this far out . i,m running at over 1000 more,, week cdn accounts for 2 to 300 of that differance
we booked with expedia. flight this year was air canada. next year will be with westjet. the price was higher until i hit to book then it droped to around 2820$ for both of us.
Haven't been on the Forum in a while, but definitely want to return to TTR in April, and it looks like I should start watching for a deal.
as others have said , the dollars sucks , and the resort knows we all cum for a good time. an apple to apple comparison for me is over 1000 more for the same dates/room. time will tell
