I paid for a room for the 21st, and can convert it to double occ, so even if you made it down on the 17th, you'd have 5 nights at the resort (worst case scenario). I guess that would be really hard on your dad though, having you away 3 weeks in a row. Hopefully you can impose your will on your boss, using your wily cougar ways!
