    Since I arrive on the 20th around 8:30 pm, A good chance I could get bumped. If they give you a wrist band to party all day @ TTR but sleeping rights at a "family resort" with transportation.
    A few things to negotiate in the bumping process. Push for the works!
    *Free Multiple Nights voucher that do not expire for 2 years - not 6 months or 1 year.
    *Names not listed on said vouchers but must be allowed to be transferable - specially for the singles or friend travelling together
    * Ammentities from hotel - e.g. Coco Bongos, massages room upgrades etc
    * If you can room with CCC freind for a night make sure you get vouchers as well for the person/people who allow you to room with them.
    * ** If you do get bumped make sure your luggege does not go to the resort without you.
    * Make sure you know the Shuttle times back n forth

    Hotels know when they over book and it isnt anything out of their pocket to put you in a sister resort. They look at repeat guest and assume they will keep returning, so ask for all its worth.

    We are having problems with this too, we were planning on booking 20/21 April. That weekend falls neatly between boobs cruises and also there's lots of people we'd like to see.

    However, we've been told that the 21st is ok but not the 20th. The hotel is already overbooked by at least 20 couples on the 20th and they expect this to increase as some travel agents don't send clients dates through until a couple of weeks before.

    The overspill is going to be sent to either Sea Adventure or Golden Parnassus. Both of those hotels are further away from Temptation than our house and not somewhere we want to go, so not an option for us - we'd rather go home to sleep if we have to.

    So, we are trying to decide whether to cancel and go a different weekend, or just get our bracelets and hope someone will help us out for the first night.

    Glenn!! here my opinion IS. first of all the hotel wont allow this. IF THE HOTEL DOSE LET THIS HAPPEN THEN ALL IT WILL DO IS ENCOURAGE OVER BOOKING. BEST BET IS TO PM FRIENDS OR SET SOMETHING UP ONCE YOU GET THERE( AS WE DID LAST SEPT} WE HAVE BEEN 13 TIMES AND BUMPED 1 NITE AND ONLY KNOW OF ONE OTHER COUPLE EVER BEING BUMPED. LETS JUST GET BACK TO PARTY MODE AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THINGS WE CANT CONTROL AT THIS TIME

    Why not?

    People have paid to stay at Temptation and will be offered all the other facilities, just not a room to sleep in due to them all being full. If people make their own arrangements I cant see it being a problem with the hotel. It's not like it costs the hotel anything extra.

    The capacity is max 3 per room. When we got bumped in sept they were mad that they paid for gp and we didnt show. We said we stayed with friends at TTR. And they stated bet the rules is max 3 per room.
    Fire codes is my guess.[​IMG]

    Sure, it's 3 per room if you're booking one in advance. And I can see why they might be annoyed if they provide a room for you elsewhere that they arrange and have to pay for but you end up not using. That would be the case with GP but not Sea Adventure since it's part of Original Resorts.

    I honestly don't think they'll have a problem if they tell you the hotel is full, and you say "don't bother making other arrangements I'll get friends here to help me out". At least, that's what we'll probably do. Use with caution though, as you may end up waiving any kinds of compensatory free nights etc.

    I'll bet every single hotel room at TTR has seen an occupancy of at least 4 in its life :)

    Sounds like a plan. Closer than Sea Adventure and Golden Parnassus with better drinks too!
