Crap !!

I found a deal for us for 2 nd week of april for 14 days 1699 + Taxes.. For now it's a bit expensive But I know the price will drop off !!!

Seriously I'll not book before January or even February !

And Right now .. Booking via lapharoom it's MORE expensive than a full package.

 

Things may also change for us a bit, as we may be using a referral week... So we have to see on that costing too...

I'm crunching the numbers... For us.. It looks like it will save us on average 100-200 per trip, which isn't a lot... But over 10 trips it saves a lot, gets us guaranteed better rooms, and a few nice perks..

 

I don't think it's the surface savings so much as the perks; expanded menu with no additional cost, concierge service with the drinks, specific room selection hold, amongst other perks they offer members. Let's not forget the whole chair situation and the reserve deck this year.

 

See that's my thing... I care more about the money than the perks... Other than the poolside waiter & concierge lol... Although now that they took the surf & turf (my favorite item) off the seafood menu for the regular people, I'm debating joining more.

 

We did the math, and between a whole lotta lobster, (not me in the sun the gulf caught type), the ability to pick and guarantee rooms, and the poolside waiter (I wonder if they will fill the shot machine, lol) we figure that will pay for it right there. Of course there is always the option to use a referral week from a friend too. Not that anyone ever makes new friends there....

 

The referral week will actually cost $1 more a night than the average price of being a member lol.... At least with the numbers I used...
