Just thought I would post this..while it seems this April group all know each other, I have only met a few of them.. lots of people coming that I have never met and looking forward to meet everyone.. I just want to say that everyone is welcome .. all the singles and newbies and repeaters.. meeting new people is what its all about.. not just talking about being welcome at the theme nights.. any night that there is a party on (which is every night).. you're invited..

First week of April

Can anyone tell us if the resort is busy the first week of April and what are the temperatures like? We went in December 09 and it was a little on the chilly side! Now I just need to convince the better half to book the trip and give up her half of the money for vacation!

 

April Is perfect temperature wise, its mid 80's during the day and low 70's at night... So its perfect, not to hot not to cold. Nights you can be comfy in shorts and a shirt, or pants and a long sleeve. Ive been going in march and april for ten years and its definately the best time of year to go if you ask me.

 

But it's better starting the 2nd week of April, right Jim? :sunny:

Theme nights

On the subject of theme nights - Are the proposed theme's, that has been put on the table for everyone's input, only for a specific week? We will be there April 18-23, from the discussion thus far, it seems that the targeted week appears to be the week of April 11-15.

 

It's a good point. I'm getting the impression that the "target week" is April 10 - 17 but I see no reason why it can't be repeated the following week.

 

I was trying to have it the week that the most people will be there.. so somewhere between the 12 to the 21st... you and I Brewster are there for 2 weeks so Brewster, if you would like to take over and arrange the week before or after please feel free.. cause i am on vacation.. hahah!!
