thanks steve, looks like we will be chatting on here again now, hope you Janet & danni are all ok, maybe we can catch up again, cant wait for april to come around again, , oh just heard the forest result  , you might need a few drinks tonight pal  .
Damn, what happened to the April crowd? I think Steve's new sticky might confuse some. Maybe I'm just hung over, but it took me a little bit to find the old sticky. Hope you all had a great weekend!!
Dazed & confused !! Derek I'm with you,I thought it was moved becaused Chet had violated one of Steves rules LOL I'm still trying to figure out the " forest result " comment ??? Little help on that one proper Sue ... Well were getting down to the wire, all of those out there lurking ,nows a great time to jump in with your dates...
your sister in law sandra probably already knows this one  , steve come's from nottingham in england, and his football (soccer ) team is called nottingham forest, and they got beat last weekend by there big rivals derby county ( sorry for reminding you steve, blame ed  ) steve always moves the thread to the chat rooms, especially if they are getting big, and i think we are on page 57 now, just check into the roll call, say hi to everyone and say we are all over on april chat.
sorry, we have'nt been on here much, and did'nt say anything, cause we did'nt want to dampen any of your holiday spirits, but the reason is that our 4 month old grandaughter has been seriouly ill in hospital these past couple of weeks, she was born 11 weeks premature, so is only 7 weeks corrected, hopefully she is on the mend now, she still needs a few more operations, and she is still in hospital, but hopefully everthing will turn out good, looking forward to seeing you all in april.
While I appreciate the vote of confidence for my knowledge of British culture, that one I didn't know. I'm having a party at my home on Saturday and my British boss will be there knocking a few back so I will be taking notes so that I'm up to speed when we meet! Ha ha ha Although last party he was at (you know the British have no problem drinking) it ran late into the night and Karaoke broke out and his rendition of, the very British favorite (Ha!), Yellow Submarine was requested and he found one note and sang the entire song using that one note....hysterical.
I'm so sorry to hear this Sue and Dave, my thoughts are with you and I hope for a speedy recovery. It's so sad when children are seriously ill like this. Stay positive and strong :daisy:
