From the airport ... Hey all, I asked this before, but really didn't get any input, so I'm askin' again!! Does anyone know which is better - just getting whoever is there at the airport to the resort or signing up for the van that Temptation provides? I think we are going to do the van because there are 4 of us and it just seems a lot easier (less stress!), but we have friends coming in the next day and it will just be the 2 of them. HEY - anyone else coming in on the 28th?? Maybe they can share a ride with someone ...
Re: From the airport ... We have gone 4 times and have always used the van provided by the tour company. I think we are going to change that this year, it is very convenient and part of the package, however Temptations is always the last drop off point, so you are like the 4th or 5th motel. Plus they have to wait for everyone on their list. Last year there was another group that took a cab without telling the van. The people inthe van waited for about an hour befoe leaving, so that from the time the plane landed, going through customs and baggage pick up and getting in the van and waiting for everyone and going to 4 other hotels first, it ended up taking about 3 hours after we landed. From what I have read in the link at the bottom of this page, if you book through enbtertainment plus, they'll have a guy outside with a sign to pick you up right away, no hassles, no waiting for other people, no going to other hotels first, they'll even take you to Walmart if you want, price sems reasonable and I think we'll do that this year. I think we can save well over an hour getting to the hotel this way.
I booked a transfer though Entertainment plus last year and couldnt find the driver.Ended up having a guy shoot me a pretty good deal on a pvt transfer.There are tons of them waiting there and you can negotiate.Im sure it was just a mishap on EP with me though.Everyone seems to talk highly of them.
Cheryl & Paul We Used Entertainment Plus last two times, with great results. Both P.U. & return to Airport went off perfect. No waiting for drop offs to other hotels, Gets you to Temptation bar the fastest......
