There's always someone there that has been there already to tell you the score. The couple we met there had done Anything Goes before as well as the Quest, and told us everything. The quest, as I said in my post was absolutely one of the funniest damn things I had ever been to. As with everything, it's the property guests present that make the fun. For us, the funniest part was this older guy, had to be in his mid-60's, pretty fit, not terribly bad looking, and when they asked for a condom, he immediately produced one (getting a point for our team!), and Mario was cracking up laughing, immediately (and I'm sure he "ad-libbed" this) said "We need - a Viagra Pill", looking straight at that guy. He of course stood right up and said "Got that too!" - Well that brought the place down laughing for a minute until this pretty attractive woman about his age, came running over from the other side shouting "I want to meet this guy!" ... OMG, the game was suspended for 5 minutes for laughing. I was laughing so damn hard, my cheeks hurt the next day!
That is why I always like Anything Goes. There is always some of the funniest things happen. I always laugh hard during that game. James
No worries, I was just giving Stew a hard time. Nobody else seemed to be. I was worried he may be starting to feel ignored. Feel free to ask away. My first post wasn't meant to tell people not to answer the question. It was just a warning to the op that the question may not get answered as many people choose not to post details of the activities. Using the "search" feature, you can find a much more detailed description than the one Stew gave. I just didn't mention it... Again, just to give him a hard time.
I didn't respond basically to avoid any acusations of ganging up which usually seem to happen with some people. As for the locking of the door and not letting anyone out that missy mentioned. NO ONE will refuse to let you stop participating in a game/contest once you start. 2 of the 3 times I've been there they said if you stay you play... if you want to just watch.. then get out. This is not to be rude to you but to make sure that everyone on the teams will play. Last year they management apparently told them not to use this rule and it was a huge piss off because the majority of our team didn't do a single thing. I don't care about winning.. but it's more fun when everyone gets involved. They will explain the rules when you get there and you can make your choice on if to stay or not. So basically do the rest of the people a favour... if you don't want to play then just go do something else for an hour.
Gotta agree with you there - there was a whole row of people on the other side of NiceShoes when we were there, that weren't playing - most of them were asian (nationality unsure), and didn't seem like they spoke a lick of English, and Mario incessantly was giving them crap about not participating to the point when they got up in a huff and stalked out, to thunderous applause! As usual, my caveat of "I've only seen it once" applying, when we did the quest, they were still recruiting people to come in while the game was underway. Again, a very funny moment came out of that as well - one person they sent in was this stunningly gorgeous younger gal in a very short skirt and barely-there top. She walks in and Mario stopped in midsentence, looked around to everyone and of course everyone starts laughing. He goes over to her and says in a nice, conversational voice, "Welcome to The Quest. May I say on behalf of every person here tonight that you have very NICE SHOES." Once again, pandemonim laughter ... If you're reading this thread, don't miss this event.
Well now I'm going to have to play Oh wait.. I was going to anyways! Thanks for the posts everyone. This trip is going to be one to remember (or not, depending on my level of intoxication). Hope I'll see some of you there early June.
