My dress: £250 (ebay, China) Russ suit: £100 (M&S) Wedding license: £100 (council (grrrr)) Party at home: £100 Night at a swanky hotel: £0 (because an event the night before made too much noise, we complained, got an upgrade to a better room, and the bill cancelled!) = perfect wedding
You are so right ...when there is a will there is a way. I am just trying to keep them from going to far into debt for the one day event. I've always told my two sons that me and my husband have sacrificed quite a bit to put them both thru 4 years at good private colleges....so....."don't come to us for a wedding." I educated them so they could find good paying jobs and pay for their own weddings.........or marry a rich girl....or a girl with a rich daddy. This is NOT the case for this wedding. We'll make our fair contribution but they are on their own for the rest. BTW beautiful pic of you two!
11/22-11/27 We will be there in Nov. for our 1st time with approximately 9-12 others. 40th b-day celebration!!
