honestly, I do the exact opposite of everyone in this thread. I try to build my tolerance before getting out there. The last thing I need is to stumble off the plane from a few shots of Jack or have my long island with breakfast get me drunk.

So true.. don't want liver shock! Or even first day get trashed, and feel sh!!ty the second day syndrome. Drink away and build up that tolerance!

I concur. Normally we drink red wine pretty regularly but the wine at TTR is not the best so I always have the Boy make me a few martini's for the nights heading up to departure. That way I can stay standing throughout all of the shots etc and can remember what I said to who. (In my opinion there is nothing worse than showing up to the gym/breakfast/pool and having people say hello to you that you cannot remember at all).

Well I gave in last night and had two beers. Its very hard. Some people unwind with a gallon of icecream or a late night snack. Our sanity (after the kids go to sleep) comes from a couple beers each night. I used to spend 30 - 60 minutes each night trying to go to sleep. Now i have a couple beers and sleep like a baby. I have a pretty good tolerance with Beer. Liquor is another story!!!!
