Anyone go after booking via the 'Mystery Sale'?

How much time will you actually spend in your room? For us, not much...we are cleaning up, sleeping, or having sex...not going all the way to Cancun to sit in a room.

 

Agreed. We are not new to TTR and definately don’t sit in our room, LOL! The idea of the bathroom not having a door though is less than appealing. I’m going to assume that that has changed since the remodel. We went in Oct. but stayed in the tower. Loved it but couldn’t pass up the Mystery Sale. Guess we will just have to wait and see

 

NOT TRUE ROAD IS GARDEN VIEW ALSO!!

 

Following up to this- we were able to find out today we have been assigned to a Trendy Ocean View Room. We arrive in about 2 weeks.

 

Did you call the resort or did they contact you

 

I contacted them.

 

We got a lousy garden view room, I had been hoping that since we are premier we had a better shot at an upgrade, but no luck. Our room was probably the smallest one we've had in all our trips to Desire (1624, the old 4000's building)

 

We got a garden view room overlooking the street lol. This was mid February. They didn't offer an upgrade but then again we did not ask. Had a great time anyway.

 

I was at TTR Feb 16-19 booked on the Mystery Sale. To my surprise I had an amazing ocean/sexy pool view on the quite pool side. Best room of my 3 trips to the reno. Not there for the room but I will take it any day!! I am heading back for my 4th trip March 16-19 booked on the Mystery Sale. Hopefully I get the same room!!

 

Was this a room with 2 double beds?
