TravelBag We've booked through TravelBag this year, only paid a deposit so far, flights B.A. out of Gatwick. Concerned at a small increase on the price quoted on the web, when we finally booked, which despite several "discussions" they couldn't explain but a little more worrying , they still haven't responded to our e-mail about it. This is fist time we've used T.B. We'll reserve judgement until we've paid in full and see what service they provide and that everything has gone smoothly.
Why is Travelbag so popular I have never used Travelbag so would not be able to coment. I have used Sunshine holidays in the past and for my trip starting on Jan 17th I booked through Kenwood Travel. gbp 938 incl transfers per person for 14 nights. I could not put my dates in today for travelbag to compare today as its too close to my departure date. What I have done is picked 14 nights room only per person from Feb 10th staying at Temptation all inclusive without flights but including transfers and the price has come up as. Travelbag Gbp 1,648.71p Kenwood travel Gbp 1,132 so quite a big difference in price Cliff
I think, as with all travel companies, it depends when you book, even the day comes into it as Trish mentioned (as in if you get a quote or book on a Tuesday, prices seem to be somewhat cheaper!) But when i looked i searched extensivly all the companies that list TTR on their destination list and when i booked Travelbag came out cheaper. Ofc that could change but if there was a massive difference in price, we have only paid deposits so far so we could always change!
