We don't go until March but we start getting excited the day we book our trip! As for packing we actually have a 'Cancun suitcase' that really never gets unpacked. After our trip we come home, do the laundry then pack the stuff back up again. A suitcase full of my thongs and his suits that we don't wear here at home. D
I am not particularly excited about this upcoming trip, just taking everyday as it comes - same as always. Well, maybe a few subtle changes - the weather lately has been cold and rainy, even saw some snowflakes and I smile - everytime someone mentions Halloween or "trick or treating", I get butterflies inside - I want to go shopping often (and I never want to go shopping) - I look at my sexy wife and think "pretty soon I will not have to share you with work or kids or anything" and my heart beats a little faster - I have a suitcase almost all packed in the spare room - I bring my laptop to work everyday so I can check into Cancuncare a few times each day - like 12-15 times each day - when someone wants to set up a meeting with me anytime between October 30-November 7, I try so very hard not to have a shit-eating grin on my face while I say "I sorry, that doesn't work for me" Other than thinking about this vacation pretty much 1000 times a day, I am not too excited at all. ooww yes major excited and im not going until march it will be our first time too. lol i have stalked this form that much that i should be locked up lol. i have even managed to get my partner looking forward to it who can i say never gets excited when we go away but that may have something to do with all the new bikinis i keep showing him ;-)
:clappyinghappyerfectly put Jim. Bob & I will be there in 13 days. It's funny because we have talked about it, trying not to get too excited because the wait seems like forever. Ok, well that's a lie, it's all we talk about. Bob's answer to everything, I don't spend money on that ! We can use that for a Mexico Trip- TTR Man ! Anyway, then before you know it, the time has arrived. Amen about not having to share your significant other work and families and everyday life. Just being together is great. Bob & I have been together 20 years. It's pretty cool because going on vacation (TTR) we act like when we first started dating. FAB- U- LOUS. Oh, the other great thing is: The anticipation going to TTR is like when you were a little kid the night before going to Disneyworld. You can't sleep and you think you're going to bust with excitement and the constant permagrin :icon_biggrin:
