I'm in the same boat. Although, I bought a cute bikini yesterday that ties at the sides, its not a string bikini, but sort of, so at least the sizing can be adjusted on some level! Matt and I have just been exercising at lot more and eating better, especially whole grains
Apparently the only way I can stick to a diet and lose weight is if I book a trip to TTR. Lost weight two years ago before we went, then gained it all back. So, now I'm back on the wagon. Glad to see I'm not the only nut. 6 more weeks to go!! Christine
I totally blew it, kept starting but never lost a pound so I gave up. The trip is next week so I'm just hopinghoping that "no one gives a $h!t".
I dont eat to gain so I have been ok for a few years now... My wife has lost 10 pounds in 1 month I think...she went up slowly to 128 from her usual 110, kind of happened after our now 3.5 year old son. This summer we have hit the pool every single weekend with her gf's in tow practically each weekend and I think seeing so many bods in bikini's gave her a wake up call. She cant do my diet, I eat only what once used oxygen to survive.....meats, vegs and fruits and I dont stray....following my diet did not work for her... She is on Herbalife shakes....2 shakes and 1 full meal.....seems to be working for her....at the rate of 2 pounds per week think she will be something like 115 or 116 by the time we travel but she was going to do it anyway...
38 days to go! Really wanting to lose 15 lbs by October 1st- doing p90X and counting calories every day!
