Just booked for the hubby's 42nd birthday present - yay! We can't wait! We've been to Desire Cabo in 2012 and Temptation in 2014. Same week we went to Desire Cabo we went to AWOL at ME Cabo, huge EDM fest and had a BLAST...with clothes on! Can't imagine what something like this will be like at Desire - so excited!
August is going to be a lot of fun at Desire Pearl! The yahoo group has a bunch of activity, the partial takeover from Desirous group will only add to the party and the music fest at the same time should be amazing. Finally here. Sooo many nice people on the yahoo group, kik, desirous site, etc. 10 days until the craziness begins! Resort is sold out so doubt we will see any TTR bumpees but if so be sure you end up at Pearl for the party!
Report? So how was the event? We are members of Desirousparty but have not gone to this event yet. Interested in review from someone not from Houston
Houston Desirous Party members here. We were at Desire RM during August's SYW month and to be honest we didn't notice anything that was different from any other time - and this was our fourth trip this year. The thing noteworthy was that a couple could bring a girlfriend with them, but we only saw one guy (late fifties) that had his wife and a girlfriend. We were there for Latin week but like I said there was no difference between that week and any other.
The Desirous party was not at RM and was not during Latin week. The Desirous party was at Pearl and was the music fest second week of August. It was VERY VERY different than a normal week at Pearl or RM. Been so busy since returning that I haven't been on here. But for us it was amazing. The party was as good as or even better than TTR this week. We will be back. But if you are a Desire resort fan because you don't like the non stop party that TTR brings then you likely would not like the Desirous party and related music fest as the music and party started early in the afternoon and went very late into the night. Several Desire regulars transferred to RM because the party was too much for them. Maybe I will do a small report as I really think many of the ccc folks would love this week.
