Marilyn amd Steve I was as skeptical as you are when I booked through Skoosh.com. After booking I called Temptation to see if I had a reservation there for Sept.and I was told yes and it was ALL paid for. I don't get how Skoosh was so much cheaper then anyone else but it is legit. If I were you,I would book it in a hurry!
I booked few weeks ago through easyclicks.com (from june27-july4) for $144/night. After looking at this post today I looked on skoosh.com and also called them, I got a $84/night quote for same days. That is $400 cheaper for the trip. Which is great. I almost wanted to cancel my existing reservation through easyclicks and do a new one through skooh. But I am little hesitent. It will give more confidence if few other had booked through skoosh. I did not liked there cancellation policy. Below is there policy: "Amendments or cancellations made up until three days before date of arrival are free of charge. Cancellations or amendments made after this point are charged per room at the full cost of the booking. No-shows are charged per room at the full cost of the booking." Looks like this is a UK based company.
Just a FYI - Yes, Skoosh.com is a British online booking agency I did a simple WHOIS of the domain and it is registered to: Dorian Harris (dorian@twinroom.com) Tel +44.1494792949 Fax: +44.1494783473 Mail: Garden Cottage Great Hundridge Manor Great Missenden, HP16 0RN Great Britain They will probably get shut down from selling Temptations rooms into North America fairly soon - just like what happened to Alpharooms
Glad we booked already. We were lucky enough to get Aplharooms 2 days before they were shut down from Temptation!!!
We used them when we went in April (booked in January). I was somewhat scared to use them because it was so cheap but it worked great. Hope to use them again for April 2010.
Has anyone booked with Skoosh in the last few days? I tried to check prices for Jan or Feb and TTR wasn't listed. Any advice?
I too checked with Skoosh for Dec. -- nothing avaiable. I emailed them and they said that they did not have anything for that resort at that time. Did not say why. hcube
Wouldnt be surprised if TTR had dropped them like they did Alpharooms for selling to non UK citizens at UK prices.
