not on olympic season. and especially shanghai and beijing, the most expensive cities in china.. oh yeah, still alot of foreigners like to go there.. americans love to go to shanghai because all the shanghainese girls are nuts about americans.. the british dominated beijing, ah i dont know why though, need further investigation.
No place is cheaper when it's Olympic time in that city. It's not unusual for things to quadruple in price....
