Go to the web page, scroll down to "our products, click Temptation Cancun resort, scroll down to "upcoming events".often the takeovers are listed there
Ok thanks I did it only takes you thru April I did see on Facebook LGBT July 26 thru aug 3 takeover through couples travel so maybe that's one so I guess the other is aug 4 thru 11 but oh well not sure we like going then but not so sure now
It seems like they are blacking out takeover dates and the times right before and after. Maybe expecting they will be busy times due to people pushing their dates. I know there are takeovers at Desire in early August too so a thought may be spill over from there too.
I would like to know what constitutes a sweet deal, so I know if I got a bargain and what to look for in the future. I searched multiple sites for weeks, apple, Expedia, Referrals just to name a few. This what I finally took though southwest vacations(biggest reason it included 2 bags per person, and with all the theme nights thought we might need the extra space) 2150 for 10 days 9 nights(garden view), including air and round trip transportation to the resort for 2 people out of BWI Now it's an off week mid December. But how does this compare? I found same dates as high as 4k
You hit the jackpot on this deal ! Best we ever got was $799 for a week each, with flights, but those days are never coming back. Well done !!
I'm not quite believing their "sold out" proclamations. We were there for Halloween week and it was busy, which we were happy to see, but from our top floor room in the middle building overlooking the quiet pool there were clearly large blocks of rooms across the pool that were not occupied. The lower level certainly was, but upper floors definitely not. I think the resort management sometimes makes claims that aren't exactly accurate to boost interest in an attempt to keep rates high. If it truly was sold out as often as they proclaim, why the sales? We could book Halloween a week before. I'm not sure they are getting the consistent occupancy post renovation they had hoped.
Holy crap! I’d love a ‘sweet deal’ but never find one, we even check referral rates. We are limited to certain dates due to career schedules and I am sure that is what kills us. We usually pay between $2100-2500 PER PERSON coming out of Detroit for 7-8 nights the first week of April. For April 2019 we found 6 nights for $1700 (we consider this our ‘sweet deal’!) with direct flights but if I search it now, it comes up $25-2600 per person! (We also get travel insurance included in that price to cancel for any reason at any time but thsts only like $100)
Sometimes flying out of Grand Rapids or Flint works best for us. It's a bit of a drive, but Toronto works and you get the exchange rate working for us too.
