I do beleive it is worth 3 pence  they are even nicking it of church rooftops, sacrilege (or was that lead) - a lot of 'opportunists' out there!
Thats lead. Up from £300 - £1050 . My mate has a contract to renew listed and heritage buildings roofs and make's a fortune out of the old scrap lead they recover from the job. However there's no excuse for this at all... http://www.churchtimes.co.uk/content.asp?id=54604 14 times in 10 months    Ian
And now gas. A buddy just had his truck yard drained of over 4k liters (over 1k gallons) of fuel over the weekend. Everything is on video. Took them 4 people, 4 trucks and about an hour. Who knew a garden hose and a $12 pump could make you $6k an hour.
Thats been happening over here for years aswell. What people have got to realise now is that due to the rising costs of fuel, food and materials absolutely everything has a resaleable value. Its madness out there and I reckon it's only going to get worse. Ian
