We have been to TTR 3 times and always thought afterwards that it was the best ever. Split time between TTR and Desire last time and hands down it will be Desire again. We are in our 50's and that what is appealing to us at this time in our lives. Not quite the Frat party by still a hell of a party and what a beautiful resort. We have stayed at many resorts from Puerto Adventuras to Cancun. Many were absolutely gorgeous. Most were boring as hell. The only place that was not boring and we went there twice was Royal Solaris. It is not adult only. We stayed at Adventura Spa Palace in Puerto Adventuras, an adult only property. While beautiful with channel 12, it was boring. While reading about GOV, it sounds like that may be your best option. It sounds very quiet and laid back but with other TTR regulars checking it out, you may have an opportunity for a little fun. Desire sounds very quiet but fun at night.
there is desires. Ive heard its more relaxing than TTR, but still has adult fun, but its also more of a lifestyle resort as well. Other then that secrets I believe is one, had friends go there they like it. We went to Barceló about 8 years ago and was a great place with great food, at the time it was couples only, I don't know if it is anymore, but from what I hear is still more adult orientated.
we are looking at a trip in a few years. Really like to go back to TTR, I think Hedo would be to much, but was curious if there anything else like TTR out there
