I slipped by the pool about 5 years ago and got a concussion. This I fell down 5 stairs and currently have a third degree sprain. It happens everyday.
It's a HUGE slip hazzard which is something I hope they fix with the renos. 2 concussions and a black eye. Oy vey! (In my defense that was across over 14 trips down there...)
This must have been another guy, as the one I referred to was at the other end of the pool near the jet tubs. Certainly sounds like it is a regular problem.
Oh wow, two in one day. It's funny when you said,"a nurse in our group checked on him." I was thinking, "yup that was me" and i was trying to figure out who you were but your photo doesn't give me much. Ha!
Remember seeing this. Not sure what happened but I was horrified that they didn't put him on a backboard or stabilize his neck. Just sat him in a wheelchair with his head wobbling back and forth! The male "Paramedic" (I hesitate to use that credential) was more interested in watching the pool than the patient. Hope he did okay. Chris
Something to remember........ Which I didn't think of on my 3rd trip..... After a massage I went to the quiet pool to cool off. Didn't think about the oils on my feet. First step in the pool and down I went . Narrowly missed a step with the back of my head. Thank goodness the water slowed down my speed. Just food for thought. Watch the oils. I was actually sober too. Be careful family!!!
this is almost a natural occurance. right outside the bathrooms and over by Diegos bar...someone has gone down EVERY time we've been there. seen broken bones to embarrassed faces...
