Nik - the lads didn't do that well compared to Europe, but the quality was definately higher. Don't think there's a secret, it's not like we're that good looking or anything. It's just the natural friendliness of geordies I think. The difference is there's lots of mixed groups, so you have to get on with the lads too. They're usually nice lads...and love a bit of football chanting!! The two who did the most are proper slimeballs, and were having a competition with each other...so they tried really hard. But everyone else was just having a laugh and hit it off the odd time. There were other groups of lads from Manchester, Birmingham and London. All of them had some success too.
ah your a gordie! cant beat the greek islands (at the mo!) but cancun seemed more relaxed and were going for 2 weeks 2 meet people from america a... sound like you had a good time tho...
Ha ha..I'm an analyst..so I probably am! The thing is, we've spent so many hours in pubs talking about our holidays I know everyone in the groups holiday inside out. Also kept in touch with the other groups I mentioned, so I got reports back from them.
