Visit every Feb - wanted to know what has happened in the past year? Any new Starbucks open up (closest to Royal Sunset)? Any new restaurants worth trying? We usually hit 100% Natural, La Habischeula, La Dolce Vita, Perico's and Labna. Thanks.....
Not a new restaurant, but Captain's Cove has been rebuilt and was better than ever two weeks ago when there. Must admit though that it has ALWAYS been my favorite restaurant in Cancun.
Starbucks that is closest to the Sunset Royal would probably be at the Plaza Forum By The Sea shopping mall. There are two other locations at La Isla shopping village and one at Plaza Caracol. Grill 14 by John Gray is open across from Le Meridien and if I am not mistaken there should be a new place that either just opened or is opening soon called Harry's Prime Steakhouse. This place is by Grupo Anderson's, the same company that operates Carlos 'n Charlie's, Señor Frog's and reopened El Shrimp Bucket. You can also find a new bar called Pancho & Willy's next to Captain's Cove, operated by the Royal Resorts group. If you're heading to Centro (Downtown) and if you enjoy Laguna Grill, you should check out their restaurant called Iki Resto Bar. CANCUN TOP 100 212eric
