Hello everyone! My boyfriend (22) and I (21) are excitedly planning a trip to Cancun, Mexico. We consider ourselves a relatively reserved and low-key couple, not particularly inclined towards partying. However, while browsing on TripAdvisor, we came across Temptation and were captivated by the resort's vibrant and liberated atmosphere showcased in YouTube videos. We absolutely fell in love with the freedom that the resort offers, but it's important to mention that we are not interested in swinging or engaging in any activities of that nature just yet in our relationship, although we have spoken about it in the past. We simply appreciate the open and accepting environment that Temptation provides. Considering our inclination towards a more reserved lifestyle, we were curious to hear your thoughts on whether it would be suitable for a couple like us to visit Temptation Cancun. You will love it. It's good a good mix of people, some in the LS and some not. Everyone is very friendly. We go 4 times a year and have met so many people that we call friends now.
If you are not “inclined towards partying” why would you go to what is probably THE BEST Adult party resort in North America if not the world? The hotel is cool like in the videos but… food is not five star, beach is not 1 star, entertainment is geared to outgoing, sexy and the party (loud). It is the party (and instant party friends) that make the place special. All of that said: if the key motivator is open and liberated people, you will not find better as a group in the world and you should give it a shot. Maybe you are really just repressed party animals and this will be your coming out party?
Temptation is a super-fun resort. It is not a swingers' resort, although there might be swingers there. It is a fun, sexy, adult atmosphere that is safe and inviting. You can be wild or tame or anything in between. You can leave your bikini top on or off. There is zero pressure to do anything you don't want to do. It's just a great place to be able to have fun day and night, inside and out, with great guests and staff.
You can do as much or as little as you want at Temptation. Last year we spent a day at the quiet pool (first time) to get away from the crowds, noise and craziness. We thought it was a sign of us being "weak" but turned out to be a wonderful day of just relaxing and talking. This is YOUR vacation. You can do what you like. Wanna skip the bash parties, sit in the quiet pool all day soaking up the sun and go to sleep at 9pm every night?? Go for it! Want to approach a couple in the lifestyle and bang them back at your room then come back to the pool to get some drinks? Go for it. No one will care. One thing we can tell you is that the crowd at Temptation (the real crowd, not the wannabe Instagram models) are the friendliest and most accepting people you'll ever meet. Enjoy!!
