Any Canadians (Feb 17-23) That Can Bring Sprinkles (from the grocery store)

OK, I don't want anyone making special trips or anything, but I need me some Canadian sprinkles. They are the kind that look like this:



and you can buy them in any grocery store. I think they are usually cake mate brand. I will seriously pay you for them and everything. I need a few jars of these bad boys.

I know this sounds weird, but the Canadian and Mexican ones are way less waxy and yummier than anything in the US - and with all my dietary restrictions (no gluten, no dairy) they are one of the few things left that make desserts wonderful for me. I drove everywhere trying to find Mexican ones last time - until I found that Canadian ones are the same!! I know this is last minute - help!

Honestly - I don't need them. No one needs extra Red #Whatever in their diet...but they're just...so...good.

 

we will be goin by walmart or sumthin again before we leave on friday and will have a peek for ya. Is it cake mate specifically? dont wanna get off on the wrong foot and bring you the wrong sprinkles........on a side note, i was trying real quick to see if they had them and when i did a search on google it looks like they sell them on Amazon.

Cake mate are ones I've gotten before, but I think any of them are good. Something in the US ones are banned in canada, so any sprinkles there are the good crunchy ones. I will check out buying them online. Didn't even think of Canadian Amazon Wait - does Amazon make a Canadian distinction like Ebay does?

 

Hmmm...I don't see a distinction on the website...don't know if I'd get the right ones. I usually end up in Canada once every year or two and *clean* out a grocery store. Every time someone asks me if they're on sale. I usually reply "Nope, I'm American" and they are satisfied with the answer.

 

I am leaving tomorrow morning and will be there until the 22nd. I may have a jar of these already in our cupboard. I will check when I get home from work today. If I do I'll let you know.

I do the same thing in the states with the liquid Coffee Mate Sugar Free French Vanilla coffee creamer...I LOVE that stuff and they don't make it in Canada. I think I have some or can get you some. I will be their from Feb 20-27th.

 

Does the creamer need to be refrigerated? If not, I can head to stop and shop Sunday and try to find some!
