Are there any bars that don't have/require a cover charge?

Are there certain clubs where the cover charge is cheaper if you go at a earlier time, etc.?

    Leaving in 11 hours.... :D

You're sure getting your fill of info C-Diddy..

you can get into Slices, Corona Bar, and a few others without paying cover.

The clubs don't have discounted admission/cover. They open at night and will actually charge a higher cover if there's a name act.

pretty much $35-50 cover for each of the clubs, all-u-can-drink + tips.

Lots of bars without cover charges...but they are bars and not clubs.

No cheaper cover charges either...in fact, they tend to raise the cover if a big act is playing or if they feel like it...at Spring Break for instance.

So rather than here in England where you'd pay the equiverlent of say $10-$15 to get in then buy drinks at $6-$9 a go inside, it's just a one off $35-$40 payment and anlimited number of free drinks once you're in?

Or is it more money for imported drinks and spirits?

Also, how would the tipping work? I mean for a round what should you hand over? or should you tip every other round etc?

    ta for the help!

The price is more like $40-50 during Spring Break.

And no tip usually means no service even with the all you can drink. A good tip upfrnt usually keeps the waiter coming back.

The clubs have a better selection of alcohol than the resorts do...and no, it's only one price.

But even though they have a better selection don't expect a top top shelf.

Depends on how many are with you....if it's more than 2 people then I'd say $5 a person should do nicely.

You will get excellent service and won't have to keep forking over tips every time another round shows up.
