I was hoarse since thursday, and its finaly starting to fade...slowly. I remember someone else telling me they were so ill, that he called the Oasis doctor, and he was given 3 shots..of who knows what.
the plague generally starts just before you leave cancun... you think it's just the air conditioning... throat is dry, you have a slight cough, maybe your nose is stuffed up... you drink it away. it sets in on the flight home...stuffed up, annoying cough. turns into a cross between a winter cold and pneumonia for a few days to a week. you can only get it in Cancun... it's like a souvenir that hurts.
... I didn't get the plague at all.. thank god.. but I did get two more Tattoos as souvenirs... Actually.. this means that all of my Tattooing has been done IN Cancun! I got a set of drumsticks with flames built into my Cross that I've had and tiny letters that say MIA SORELLA which means My Sister in Italian. My sisters real name is Mia.. so I'll always have it..
