wife got bit the other night for the first time. we were their for 7 days she got bit 1 time and mosquitos love her to death.
I've only been to cancun once before but it was about this time of year. No mosquito problems. I'm not taking any bug spray. If it's bad, I can buy some there. Lots of stores around including a walmart. Not cluttering my suitcase with it tho.
In 5 trips I have never been bitten by a mosquito. You really don't even see flys. i think they still use bug killers that have been outlawed in the States. Just guessing on that one, but DDT really worked well.
I'm not sure on this time of year, but last June when I went I was a mosquito magnet! Of coarse they always seem to be taking a bite outta me no matter where we are at.
We'll... I think Rick and I must attract them??!! We have had to use bug spray a few times but not every night.
I've never had a problem with bugs and never heard anyone complain. I'm hoping that I didn't just jinx myself. Iowa in July/August brings out kindergarnten size mosqitos and they love me in a bad way.
