Hard to believe, but another Rock Star has played his final gig.

His Royal Purpleness passed on today at 57.

2016 has taken waay too many legendary musicians.

    This has to stop.....
or, at least, let it be someone we don't like!

Love Prince. Sad to hear the news yesterday.

I remember my dad telling me when I was in HS -
"I don't care for the fruity shit but Prince is a musical genius, you wont find another one like that in your lifetime."

He was also a very underrated guitarist. Vid picks up when Prince starts at 3:30. :(

"Lets go Crazy" came on this morning driving my 4 year old to daycare. Before I let on that I like the song, he was listening intently. I knew he didn't know the song, cause they don't play it regularly, so he was just taking it in. After a minute or so he says "What song is this, it's good?!" I told him, and then said it was by Prince.

He was confused by his name just being Prince, and I had a hard time explaining that part, but at least we rocked out to the rest of the song together.

I so wanted to pop my phone out and get a video of his full dance moves in the back, but I hardly ever do that because it so much better to take those types of moments in and etch them fully into your brain, rather then just saving memories via technology. It's just a bummer no one else gets to see it, because the in-seat dancing was pretty impressive.

Thanks posting the vid....enjoyed watching it.

    And your Dad was right.

Back in the great rivalry with MJ...I always said that Prince has waay more talent than Jackson will ever have.
Always liked him....just wasn't sure where the fruity stuff was leading.....but he was like Bowie in that way of androgynous mystery.
