Another newbie here looking forward to the experience...

My buddy and I will be there in October. I am happy to learn that those of us traveling without a significant other will be welcome. Looking forward to escaping from the real world for a few days

 

Wait a minute, how about think this way, what you will do if you go on vacation... you enjoy the time there, enjoy food, enjoy new town, enjoy drinks, enjoy the overall experience of travel. So why not go with that attitude and in that process if you happen to find few nice people then enjoy all together and make new friends. Don't go we over expectation or for hook up, you can do that in your own town, why going that far for that lol
You really don't need a couple or girl to enjoy your vacation, make your own vacation enjoyable, and if you get anything extra then it is cherry on the top

We're just going to have a good time with out any expectations.. I haven't been out of the country in a few years so it's more of needed retreat!

Two of my single buddies are headed back to Temptation this Nov-Dec for their forth time. It will be my first. Their advice, "Keep an open mind and go with the flow". I see a lot of people saying similar things on this site.
Please, let me know how your trip goes. Enjoy.

 

DO :
*Smile and talk to everyone you can and treat them like your best
friend/neighbor back home.
*Be respectful to EVERYONE
*Act like you've seen a pair of boobs before...don't gawk/stare
*Let bartenders/staff know how much you appreciate their hard work
*Play Volleyball or other activies that let you talk to other guests.
*Bring Alkaseltzer, Aspirin, Pepto-bismol, Dramamine
*Take a ferry ride to Isla Mujeras...about a 10min walk to ferry
*Take a $4 dollar bus ride (each way) to Playa del Carmen from
downtown Cancun.
*Have Fun!

Don't:
*Try to take pictures of other guest without thier knowledge
*Over do it your 1st day there...which can cause you to miss your
2nd day there
*Think... I'm Ok, I don't need sunscreen" or "I don't need to get out
of the sun"
*Get obnoxiuosly drunk and stupid in a foreign country.
*Get in a cab without finding the exact price for your destination
*Go looking for herbal/chemical enhancements that will LIKLEY land
you in jail. Entrapment/Bribery is big down there.

I'm sure there's more but these are just what comes to mind at the moment! Have fun guys!
