Mel, you and I are in agreement on both counts. Every time I have ever had a lost luggage issue it was during a plane change in Philly. I swear those folks would lose entire planes if they were given the chance. We had to take American Eagle, which should be called American Sparrow, when we went to Alaska last year for our connection in Chicago with Alasaka Air. American Eagle is also bad, but Alaska Air seems like a pretty good airline from our experience.
