I used them 2 years ago and had no issues, just the "international credit card fee" but I don't remember how much it was! Like everyone else said, saves you a lot of money!

Just made our final payment with Alpharooms for our April trip. It took me 3 calls to my credit card company to have the foreign transaction charge finally go thru. The credit card fraud dept even called me when they saw this charge. After I made the reservation, the price decreased. Alpharooms would not give credit and I would have lost my deposit if I made a new reservation. The cost using Alpharooms is much less than all the other popular websites. I still feel like we are getting a good deal. April sounds like a great group of people. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

We have used alpharooms the past two years without a problem. We tried to book this year from them and went through some frustration (in hindsight our fault, not the websites).

We were booking and it was denied. Called the bank and they said they didn't deny it. Called alpharooms and they didn't know why it was denied. Started looking at other websites and the prices didn't even come close, we were determined to book thru alpharooms.

Well come to find out if you are in the US and you are putting your address in, don't put your zip code where it says post code, just leave that blank. Vacation booked...YEAH!!! April 27-May 6...MAYhem

We booked through them over the weekend. After three botched attempts I got it right. If we show up at the hotel and we dont have reservations we're going to have to spend the week in some of our friends rooms. Not that I'm sure they would mind. TTR is all about sharing right?
