Hubby and I are getting ready to book trip #3, have always used Funjet in the past, but they have not renewed their contract with Temptation as of yet for 09. We are thinking about going through Alpharooms. We would like input from you guys. I know there have been previous comments on this topic, but I don't have time (or I'm too lazy) to look back!! I booked the rooms through alpharooms and the flights directly through the airline.Saved 350 dollars from expedia,travelocity,and orbitz.
First time also and was wondering if you can upgrade from the "double-bed" to single bed and ocean view.; If so, I can't find a way to do it on their web-site. so, im guessing I have to call the uk??
I also booked flight through different site but booked rooms through Alpha and there was a definite price difference. We go May 23 I will report back on how ALPHA WAS.
I just recently booked three different hotels with Alpha, although not in Cancun. 2 were in Paris and one in Madrid and all worked out fine. I messed up by booking the two Paris hotels for the same night when they should have been consecutive nights and didnt realise until we arrived at the first hotel. I called Alpharooms from France and they changed the reservation at the second hotel for me for the next day, even though I didnt call them until the same day I had reserved. We had a good experience with Alpharooms and will be using them again for our trip in February. Can't wait!
