wish we could! work schedule does not allow before mid Nov.

 

The cc charges are based on what CC u use. I got a prepaid visa with my name on it a couple years ago that I use only for travel. Using that there is no worries about
1) bank declining for out of country
2) cc fee was only $23
3) no worries about identity theft.
4) just have to make sure you have enough funds for when balance is due

Oh also they only charge the CC fee once.
That being said I have used alpha rooms for my last 5 trips

We had 1 cc charge with the first payment. No charge with the 2nd and final payment. Still was the best deal.

 

So does that mean we get a refund for the fees that they already charged us?

 

They do differentiate between credit cards and debit cards.

 

Just completed our August 2013 vacation using Alpharoom and had no problems. They had the best room rates (had other arrangement for air). Before we made our reservations, we called our credit card company to inform them of the out of country charge and afterwards, called the resort directly to confirm our reservations. Everything went as planned.
