I was only trying to make the point that it isn't like a storm like that is just a little bit of rain, or even a normal rain storm. Some people were describing it like that - and for many who may not realize, I was simply trying to show with the video what those storms are really like, and explain that the resort is NOT the same in that kind of weather - not even remotely the same!! I would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time. If it doesn't matter to others, that is fine - just trying to pay it forward for those who would like to make an informed decision. We were going to book later in November, after Thanksgiving - I guess not now since the sale is over - boo! :ranting1:
I heard Funtastic travel has good rates. They are a small company and I know them well. I book all my travel reservations thru them Welcome to FUNtastic Travel
That is one of the worst travel websites I have seen. I'm guessing you call them directly or stop by their office to book.
Great post Steve, thanks for the info husband should be home from Afghanistan sometime in September so maybe another trip is in order at that cost. Being from Florida no worries about storm season...If it's gonna hit it's gonna hit. Time for a hurricane party. We were thinking of Key West for Fantasy Fest in October so now a decision needs to be made...
We pulled the trigger the day the sale ended..Thursday...thank goodness I did...I love the price we got...we had a tropical storm graze us September of 2010...it rained 10 minutes almost everyday...anyone else in later september?
sorry i wasn't picking on you, merely saying what happened to you doesn't happen very often even in oct/nov. And you can get storms in april or any other month. Not as bad but still heavy rain for days but like i said rare.
