WOOHOO! So glad I found out about this... we were discussing a trip late October for our 5th anniversary. Found great airfare and was going to wait on the room... got a rate of 120 per night. This trip is costing us $1000 less than we usually pay when we go in May/June... glad we waited this year! OCTOBER, HERE WE COME! October 26 - November 2
Hard to believe there isnt a "catch" somewhere. I just looked at Alpharooms for a specific AI resort in Negril, Jamaica, it was an UNBELIEVEABLE $800 U.S. for 7 days for 2 adults. The same AI resort booked through the resort itself was $1900 U.S. Cant be that much of a difference. Got to be a catch somewhere.

Yep and here's the catch Just a FYI - Hedo and and many other Jamaica AI resorts have a policy that if you show up with a reservation made via any TA or online shop in the UK or Euro zone you will have to present a British or Euro zone passport at check in. If you can't present a British or Euro zone passport, Hedo and and many other Jamaica AI resorts will charge you the difference at check in time between what you paid via the TA or online shop in the UK or Euro zone and the standard published rates for North America.
Ahhhhhh...I knew there had to be a catch somewhere. Even though it may not apply to ALL resorts, Alpharooms should make that known.
