I (Andrew) find it offensive to suggest single males must find a female companion. Perhaps it's because we are traveling with a married female couple this next time and met a wonderful male couple the last time there. Demanding a chaperone of the opposite sex seems rather arbitrary to me.
Why not just go to Desire or any other of the myriad options for couples only resorts around the globe? I searched and searched and TTR was pretty much the only place that was an adults only resorts where singles were welcome. There's plenty of other options if you want couples only, not so many if you're single.
Yes you're right, asking males who come to a resort that's catering to couples to come with a female is equally offensive as genocide. Sorry my mistake :icon_rolleyes:
Well I won't weigh in on a nazi comparison, but as a single I kind of like/am used to having my own room. Not to mention the added logistical challenges of finding a female who wants to cone with me and can accommodate my schedule. When I booked my trip, it said NOTHING about catering specifically to couples, and I booked right through their own website. Like I say, if you want something that's couples only, there's plenty of places to go. Here, I internetted for you: Couples Only All Inclusive Resorts

I just checked Original's official Temptation page and I don't see the word "only" associated with "couples" anywhere. It does say the thing aout "adults & couples" right up there, but not only, so singles can still show. I doubt they want to run off the single ladies, right? And, it's not the occasional 10% of the TTR population that happens to be a problem, usually by contrast, they liven everyone up. As stated, its the Spring Break type crowd, or a combined group of 22 y/o overtestosteroned and undersexed dudes-in-training that rub folks the wrong way... IMO, of course, never have been bothered by a single dude personally, though Stacia has once.

If you require "couples" signle guys could come, if they also brought a single girl, just to keep things "even." Hmmm.... I'm thinking the difficulty of that through.... Maybe that won't work.
