Last May they tried to put us in the 5000 block rooms. i asked for a different room and they only had the ones that opened up to the patio bar. they told me it would be noisy and they would move us the next day to the quiet pool but we liked it and since we stayed up late anyway....
In october I requested the same room and got it. i think that they usually try to fill up the less desirable rooms first but are ok moving you depending on occupancy if your nice.

FYI. the 5000 block rooms was a nice large room and i would have been ok with it if that was all that was available. in 16 trips i have stayed everwhere except over looking the parking lot and never had a bad room EXCEPT the one time they gave us one that the door faced (balcony right over the italian resturant) the Carousel Resort next door while they were remodeling. they started to early for me and were very loud and those rooms had thin doors with a gap.

We actually prefer the rooms in the 5000 block because half of them have the huge double showers. As for the view, does not mater to us at all since we really only use the room for the three S's.

I booked with Alpha years ago and did not have any issues and then Temptation stopped them from selling their rooms and I guess I am about to give it a try again right now. Will save us over $300 booking airfare and room separate compared to any other travel site

just booked today paid $1475us 12 nites that is less than the all inclusive fee if you if you own a timeshare. First time with Alpharooms but if steve says its good its good (link through cancunecare.com) As far as rooms go most are the same we like to stay by paty'o s loud, but dont care close to everything. Never in room anyway

For our vacation visit, the first week plus, of March, for nine days, alpharroms is over $1800. Skoosh is also very high. Still looking but orbitz and expedia have them bth beat as airfare is about $1000 for two.

 

vf2. funjet and apple are good options too if you havent booked yet.

 

Thanks, we have checked those as well. Looks like we will be paying more this year to get away for a short time from this Iowa winter. (Although it was 52 yesterday and 40 today)
