I've heard that the alcohol is pretty bottom shelf at the resort I'm going to (Temptation) so I'm thinking about bringing some of my own. I'm curious about the price and selection in Cancun.
Which brands of vodka and tequila do typical liquor stores carry?
What is the wine selection like?
And what are the prices like? I'm Canadian so I'm use to high prices.
    Any alcohol related tips appreciated!

    Thanks!

I have to disagree about the rock bottom comment.
Well unless you are a licquor snob.

Selection seems pretty standard to me.
But they dont have everything that everybody likes...just like the music at Bash!

Many wines for sale by bottle at the resort at high prices.
House wines are marginal from what I have heard...I dont drink it.
Slso dont drink tequila unless I am handed a shot(ssssssss),

Liquor store do have nice selection and we have found the prices reeasonable and comprable to the States.

    The list is long so...
You might try asking specifically asking if TTR carries what you like .
Primier members and those on referral do have a better selection available.

Ha, I'm not sure if I'm a total liquor snob. I've never been to TTR and am only going by what I've read on the forum. For example Smirnoff vodka, while not premium is totally fine with me. But I've gotten the impression that TTR sells the cheapest possible.
