This is our 5th trip to TTR and we made the mistake of using the transfer we got from Expedia on our first trip it took us almost 2 hrs to get to TTR!!! Never again we always book with USA Transfers now, I like to spend my time in the sexy pool not in a van for two hrs!!!!
Can we use USA Transfers for arrival only? And use the included one back? Don't they kinda sorta miss you if you don't show up for your transfer on arrivals/departs?
We used Best Day our first time going to Cancun. We waited about an hour at the airport while they got other people before we left and then it took about another 90 minutes or so to get to the resort. We were the last stop. It was fun to see all the other resorts as someone said, but never again. We now only use USA Transfers.
Reservation made with USA. The question is - do you tell the other (in our case Apple vacations) not to wait for you when you get to Cancun or before hand? I just don't want someone to slip up and cancel like the hotel portion rather than the bus transfer and me show up and not have a reservation or something.
We have used best day several times. Usually have never waited more than 15 min to fill a 10 passenger van. Most stops before TTR was 4. TTR being the last of their stops. On the return trip TTR is the last pickup so it is direct to the airport from there. When we go with friends we use ttr's transfer which is a Transbeach, a pvt transfer for up to 6people for $70.
gray-line transfers hey guys, Deb & me have Gray-Line Transfers for our 1st TTR vaca on the day after thanksgiving. Has anyone used Bookit transfer? We got a good deal on the transfer when we booked so we took it. This was before we found out about USA Transfers. I was wondering if they used a small or large van and how many stops they may make.
You could easily lose an hour. At least twenty minutes waiting for the other 3 couples to show up for the van. Twenty minutes more for taking the long way to TTR by going thru the Hotel Zone, and another twenty minutes for the stops you will be making. Remember that Temptation is on the opposite side of the Hotel Zone from where the van will be making it's first stop. I just booked five couples on USA Transfers today for our April trip.
