Does any one know when is the best time of the year to buy tickets to Cancun . Is there a high or low season when tickets are lower then other times . I would be coming from Albuquerque , New Mexico

Depends on when you are traveling, and how flexible your dates are. We usually buy 3-6 months ahead for most trips, however I have gotten great deals when buying just a few days ahead.

You can go online, and do some shopping and get a feel if flights are starting to get booked up, or if there are lots of seats still open.

We book earlier if we have specific dates that we want to travel. Late August usually has cheap flights.

Also keep in mind. If your dates are flexible, you might want to check traveling out mid week. Usually that is cheaper
