Ok, I haven't left Mexico in almost four years, help!! I'm looking to go to Los Angeles for a weekend for my brother's wedding, where will I find the best fares? I've tried Alaska (almost $700), Mexicana and a few random flight search sites. Anyone have any bright ideas??
Hello Canuck! Congrats to your brother and his partner! I see Mexicana and Aeromexico have some flights CUN-LAX round trip for $390 USD, and one of them is nonstop. American has some flights for $403. Go to travel.yahoo.com and it will show you the prices for all of the airlines on your travel dates. I picked Oct 23 - Oct 27 to get these fares after reading the wedding date on your blog.
I always end up using Travelocity, not that I want to, it's just always cheaper when I really start hunting.
Thanks ladies! I have been fighting with Mexicana's website for an hour (grrrr), will try the other sites and see if I can't get them to accept a reservation. Otherwise I'll just go in to the Mexicana office tomorrow. The direct flight is great and ends up being just over 5000 pesos. Thanks again! I am really excited for my brother (and really happy that mom is willing to help me out with airfare, lol!)
