Is this code just out of St. Louis? My friends are trying to get out of Cleveland on Jan. 26th and USA3000 is coming out to $488.50 per person ($199 each way/person plus taxes). I'll NEVER understand the travel industry as I booked out of Detroit for $169 going & $159 coming plus taxes per person & now the fare is down to $139 each way. Since when did airfare ever go DOWN -- It always goes UP. I tried the "solstice" code & the price remained the same. In the past, Cleveland has always been cheaper to fly out of. Thanks for anyone's input.
make sure you use all capital letters for the promo code. fares have been going up and down considerably for a while now. go to Kayak.com and enter your cities and dates, after which you'll see the fare trend for that route over the past few months.
Airline deals I just got a great rate from FunJet for two people from Cleveland to Cancun on USA3000. Got both tickets for a little under $600 including all fees. USA3000 had at least one day sold out - so check out Funjet for the end of July!!
