Advice for ladies (and maybe some guys) about TTR Apeshitness

With the time difference and 12 hour flight from the UK, you either embrace the party and 'go hard' the first 72 hours, or you fall asleep and miss it. I prefer to start as I mean to go on, with a shot or two of tequila and a beer within the first 30 minutes of arriving. Also have a rule that the husband and I can't go to bed before midnight on the first and second day.

I guess in this way I'm more likely to fall victim to 'first day curse' than the husband! That being said, cannot recommend enough having that conversation before every trip that sets the limits of acceptable behaviour.

Agreed, first couple of trips we retired early on the first night, woke too early, went to bed early, vicious circle. Last trip we did as you, tequila, kept going first night, (which turned out to be a 26 hour day!) and kept the ball rolling from then on.
Don't usually bother with "the conversation". Sometimes one of us (me) gets a bit stupid, but it's a holiday, and we've been together long enough for me to know what pisses him off!!:azzangel:

I think I (beauty) will also come down with said "apeshitness". We already added an additional day to the vacation, haha!

 

Glenn and I smile all the time. Lol total apeshitheads all the way. I have a boobie fascination but they come in the form of square pecks.

 

Cure for this ailment - Mirrored sunglasses, a deep breath, and a tankard of scotch/bourbon.

 

Apeshitness Update

As the originator of this post, just to let everyone know, there was a bit of apeshitness. The trip was awesome and I'm going to post a trip report (with pictures, hopefully) very soon, but a quick apeshitness update: RnJ, as usual, got pretty hyper and didn't want to sleep for the first few days. He looks amazing from all the high protein/low carb/wt lifting and was getting a lot of attention from some pretty hot girls at TTR last week:



plus he's an awesome dancer, (but, clearly, so am I--this is on our last night--see how loose I am by then?):




Anyway, Girls were really flirting with him. The only time I got mad was the night before we were going to do the Boobs Cruise and I knew I wouldn't make a 9:30 roll call if I didn't get some sleep, so we agreed on a bedtime of midnight for me and 2am for him.



I wake up alone in the room at 4am and guess what--he's not there. I get partially dressed and head down to Paty'Os where he's dancing with some girl I didn't recognize. :angrymad: Apparently I gave him what for and he followed me back to bed like a little puppy. Next morning we talked (again--this is the KEY, communication; otherwise it festers and becomes a shitty big deal). Everything was great after that (and pretty great before that). After the 4am Paty'Os incident, he was much tamer and I was feeling looser (isn't that funny how the guys are loose right away and for me, at least, it takes a few days to really loosen up? has been our experience every trip), so everything was fine. He did come back to the room with me when I was ready after that, which I appreciated. I've seen guys stay out later than the women and sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not. Again, communication is the key! I hope everyone has a great time, because we sure did!!!

You are way to cool! We get such a kick out of the whole APESHIT issue and from the wife's side can really relate. It can be an issue and you are so right....a couple needs to have the talk. Great post...thank you!
