Honestly - the #1 thing that we can tell you as this is our 2nd time:

DO NOT GET SUCKERED INTO THE FIRST DAY CURSE.

You'll show up, drink your ass off, and then crash and burn early, missing your whole first night there. It's too easy to jump in as fast as you can and party hard. You're going to be naturally a little tired from traveling, combine that with the nerves of 1st time, a little alcohol, and the sun...

So, just pace yourself early.

 

Hi G & B, just bring a huge wide smile, you'll luv it. Say hi if you see us around the pool, were there 14th - 28th, and will definitely be on the 19th cruise, so looking forward to sharing all the fun with you. I think it's a pirate theme, so be prepared.......

Well, we've been home for 3 weeks now and the withdrawals are still haunting us but I wanted to post and thank all of you for the advice. Thanks to you guys, and the rest of the forum, we were prepared and had an awesome trip. No first day curse in spite of being up for nearly 48 hours straight. Packing umbrellas might have been useful advice though. We jumped in with both feet and made the most of our time there. The Boobs Cruise was the highlight of our trip. Next time we will do two. We also learned a lot from that first trip so we can make our next trips that much better. Can't wait to go back!
