Ok, I'll give a serious answer now. If you could call it a dress in any of the most whoreish ways, it's totally fine (at least for at night at paty-o's, inside the sit down restaurants at night think sexy-slutty vs all out). You will see women really mesh "dresses" with possibly less fabric than 2 shoelaces strung together. On the warmer nights, which you will be there for, a lot of the girls in our group end up in the bar there dancing with just panties and pasties and that's fine. As long as she's comfortable in it you are pretty much good to go.
Since I feel nice - one day we will get a FAQ posted at the top but until then: Posts you should read: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/tem...565-what-should-i-not-forget-when-i-pack.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/29607-newbie-question-rules-cameras.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/29479-first-time-temptations-questions.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/29162-just-few-silly-questions-newbies.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/tem...-newbie-cancuncare-temptation-understand.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/28820-how-much-money-should-we-take.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/tem...8695-first-time-going-have-few-questions.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/28892-isla-mujeres.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/28554-help-temptation-improve.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/28528-drinking-water-safe.html
This forum helps immensely with building the pre-trip anticipation. If you'd like to return the favour and help others build their anticipation post a few photos. Don't forget to take a few of your cute wife when she's giving you the mandatory pre-trip fashion show. Yes, mandatory..... someone told us newbs that's the #1 TTR rule.
Welcome to the chaos that we all enjoy and love. For us TTR is like spring break for us out of control adults. We'll be there May 16th-28th please come by and say hi and if we see you we'll do the same.. And on the Boobs Cruise on the 19th & 25th. Hope to see you both on one of them. Welcome aboard. LeeAnn & Gary
Pre tanning is a must ...especially for pasty white igloo bound , whale blubber eating ,moose hunting Canucks . Pasty white parts that haven't seen daylight in years burn very easily . Oh and BTW be yourselves participate in theme dress nights (guys included) and do the Boobs Cruise at least once .
The natural Redding sun will be much more conducive to tanning than the salon. With it being in the 80's this time of year - head to the Lake, river or your nearest pool.
1st timers response The bride and I just returned from our trip on the 11th. We had a blast. Just a few thoughts, ideas, and experiences from our recent trip. What to do? - Use USA Transfers....they were great What not to do? - Don't let the bride try to keep up with your adult beverage consumption What to avoid? - Timeshare pitch - they will waste 1-3 hours of your vacation on day 2, at least that's our opinion. What to expect? - A vacation in which you can party your ass off or just immerse yourselves in relaxation and quiet time. (Unless your room is around PatyO's - no sleep from 9pm to 4am) We only had one excursion planned during our trip and that was the Boobs Cruise on the 8th. We got hit with a cold front as we were approaching the pier on the island, but still had a great time. Would definitely do it all over again, even with the storm. Having only this excursion allowed us to be free in deciding what to do from day to day (1 day cruise, 5 days sexy pool). We arrived at the resort and was checking in at 9:30 am...this didn't bode well for the bride as she unintentionally tried to keep up with my margarita drinking....(she got tucked into bed at 6:30 pm). Remember it's a marathon, not a sprint!! We were cautiously optimistic about the resort especially due to some of the negative reviews that are written. I believe the vacation will be whatever you want it to be. The people, both vacationers and staff, were absolutely a pleasure to meet. We met some great people, both CCC members and non-members. Regarding what to wear, clothing was packed in which she was positive that she would not wear in public....she was wrong, and for this I was extremely happy The mantra "No one knows you and no one gives a shit!" is absolutely spot on with TTR. When it comes to most clothing, when it doubt, pack it. It normally doesn't take up much space!! We made reservations at both the Chinese and Italian restaurants and enjoyed our dinner each night. They were nice. Most days we would forget to make our reservations from the 9am to 4pm window....The sexy pool and Pedro's drinks at Diego's Bar had a LOT to do with that. By no means are we TTR experts but we had a great time. So much of a good time that we've already booked 9-25 through 10-6 (Our birthdays are 9-30 & 10-1). Welcome to CCC and just be ready to have a blast!! Gary & Twyla
