We just got bac from Cancun and did the Mystic Adventure tour which was a visit of the Mayan ruins, lunch, ATV in the jungle, zip lining, under ground snorkeling, and authentic tamales for dinner. The tour was 12 hours. 2 hours from the time we started to the time we stopped at the Mayan ruins. We stopped at 4 resorts to pick up other people. Each resort was like 5 miles off the road lol. It took forever!!! We did however make the best of the time making friends with the driver and learning about the area and people. Once we got to the ruins we were "released" which basically meant we were walked to the gate and told to be back in 1hr and 20 min or be left behind.

We met back up and went to lunch which was good but drinks were extra (2 beers and 2 shots of tequila $18.00). Drove to the reservation and got our ATVs. Rode the ATVs through the "jungle" to a "lagoon" I think it was called. Water was very clear and it was nice to swim in before going back to the ATVs and driving further into the "jungle" (I say "jungle" because they are hard packed trails with signs and it reminded me of hard driven logger roads in Maine. It never looked like a jungle that I would think of but more like a state forest) We zip lined a couple times until we ended up zip lining into a dark cave and landing in the water for our underground snorkeling. The one and only complaint was that the generater was not working and it was pitch black. Our tour guide had a little head light trying to guide a group of ten with snorkels and masks through the darkness!?!?!? If he looked forward the people in the back (us) couldn't see anything. If he looked back he would blind us with the light. He would talk to us like we could see and tell us what we should see if we were snorkeling and the stuff we were missing like tree roots from above of stalagmites and stalagtites. The end of the 1/2 hour swim put us in a spot that the natural light allowed us to see under water enough to see what we missed. They then fed us authentic Mayan tamales before the 2 hour reverse ride of dropping people off and getting back to temptations.

Pros: EVERYONE was awesome. Driver, guides, other tourists, venders at the Mayan ruins, lunch, ATVs and water.

Cons: 2 HOURs driving each way, No lights (even though they are definitely there) in the cave !?!?!? The guy in front of me that couldn't drive his ATV and was always in too high of a gear and getting stuck on hills which brought half of the group to stop way too often.

We made "friends" with everyone even if we will never see one another again and had a good time. I doooo 100% agree that the Boobs Cruise is the best entertainment of the trip (or maybe the sensual couples massage). The Boobs Cruise is a non stop comedy show with some very adult activity. The faces on the people in the boats as we go by is PRICELESS. LMOA
